Goju-ryu is a traditional style of karate originating from Okinawa. Our training syllabus revolves around Kata, which helps improve strength , fitness and co-ordination whilst also instilling self defence manoeuvres along with which comes confidence.
The Instructors train weekly with their Instructor, Sensei Andy Barker 5th Dan and also regularly with the O.T.G.K.A Chief Instructor Sensei George Andrews, 7th Dan. The Instructors have also trained with many of the I.O.G.K.F Senior Instructors including Chief Instructor Sensei Morio Higaona 10th Dan.
Instructors are CRB checked, hold First Aid Certificates and have attended CPS training.
Safety is at the fore front of our minds and we do our upmost to deliver quality training to each individual within a safe friendly environment.
