About Woodhouse Dojo

Sheffield Woodhouse Dojo is a bit of a family affair in that it is run by Husband & Wife team Sensei’s Terry & Michelle Noble, with many of the students also being related to one another in some way, creating a good, friendly, atmosphere within the club.
The club trains children from 7yrs and up and has a good mix of grades training within, from beginner to Black Belt.
We are a Traditional Karate style that concentrates on Kata ( a combination of defence moves against imaginary attackers) from which self defence moves can be taken and we also practice sparring with higher grades of children under strict supervision of the instructors. Safety is always at the forefront of the Instructors minds and our instructors are also CRB checked, Accredited First Aiders and attend Child Protection Workshops.
